FREIBURG SINGS (Satis Shroff)
FREIBURG SINGT ( Satis Shroff) On Saturday the 30 th of June 2018 was the well-known Choir Festival ‘Freiburg Singt’ in different parts of the this university town, which is also known as the Gateway to the Black Forest. The participants thirty choirs sand their repertoire in different styles from pop and jazz to classical songs. It was the biggest choir event in the entire region in cooperation with the Freiburger Choir Project. The choirs came from the Chorverbnd Breisgau (CVB), which involved the communities from the Landkreis Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald, Emmendingen and the City of Freiburg, as well as the choris and formations that weren’t members of the Chorverband Breisgau. The musical side was organised by the teams of the Chorverband Breisgau comprising members of the CVB-chief Florian Bischof, Jan Elert and Willi Ritter.
